Thursday News + Notes

- The purported bi-sexual gimmick given to Orlando Jordan got off to a bad start with the network last week, as the initial kiss from his male valet was not aired. Spike officials had a problem with the way he "rubbed" Jordan. Who thought a flamboyant bi-sexual gimmick on a network aimed at "men men men men manly men" would be a good idea in the first place?

- TNA has been granted an 8 minute overrun for the March 8 live Monday debut. No word on whether that will be permanent or just a special for the first show.

- Vince McMahon is said to be pleased with how Daniel Bryan came off on Tuesday's debut episode of NXT, saying they made him "a star" in one night due to his interaction with The Miz and his match with Jericho. If by "a star," you mean "botching a leg whip so horribly that it looked like Jericho's knee might be disjointed" and "smiling throughout almost the entire show even when you're supposed to be angry," then yeah, Vince, you made one hell of a star this week!

- Current plans apparently call for Stone Cold to be the final "guest host" when he runs the March 15 episode. No word on where they go from here, or whether that's to free up space for The Rock to come back over the summer like previously reported.

- Talks of Triple H turning heel have once again surfaced. That seemed to be the plan last year, but was scrapped in favor of the DX reunion.
