This Crazy Coot Wants to Manage Your Money.

So, apparently reports of Ric Flair's wrestling demise have been greatly exaggerated. Ol' Naitch called into a radio show in North Carolina on Friday to shoot the breeze about Appalachian State, and of course, he was presented with the question about his apparent "quitting" from WWE. His response?

Ric Flair: "MEEEAAAAANNNNNN... WOOOOOOO! By God!!!!.... GENE!"

Mark Packer (host of the show): "Um, Ric? Mean Gene's not here."

Ric Flair: "The Naitcha Boy is liiiiive... right here... in Charlotte, North Carolina, baby! WOOO!"

And then he said something about the Four Horsemen, and then dropped an elbow on his jacket, unfortunately forgetting he was talking on the radio.

Of course, I kid. The real story is much more interesting. He denied quitting WWE, saying "What would the WWE do without me?" and then laughed it off. He plugged his new Ric Flair Financial company, which would explain why he's been off TV.

Now the question is... is this a case of internet "reporters" trying to get a scoop that wasn't there? Or "spin spin baby?"

UPDATE -- Oh. My. God. I'm a Flair mark till the day I die, but you HAVE to listen to this.

Figure Four Loan Process? And a "WOOO!" at the end? This, my friends, is the greatest day in the history of our sport.

Well to be fair during the interview he seemed a little hesitant.
