Round 2, brother!

While TNA has yet to announce it, Spike TV's schedule is officially listing another live version of TNA iMPACT! for Monday, March 1, at 9PM Eastern (8 Central). The following night would tape 2 more episodes for March 11 and 18, to lead into the Destination X pay per view on the 21st.

I, of course, am excited, but I'm a little disappointed with the schedule. Wouldn't you want the live show to be your go-home for the PPV? As it stands now, there'll be nearly 3 weeks between final impact tapings, and the live PPV. That's a long time for the spoiler-readers to stay excited for it. In fact, I know we're trying to be patient and all, but they have to take this thing live every week sooner than later. The live episode did a 1.5, best rating ever, and that was even up against Bret freakin Hart hosting Raw. March 1 will pit them against Cheech & Chong. Interesting, but at least TNA was smart enough not to schedule this up against the Stone Cold show or something. And the taped shows have been holding steady at 1.2 and 1.3, so now is definitely the time to take that trickle of momentum and, as Dixie likes to proclaim so much, swing for the fences.

Now, if Cheech & Chong suddenly have to "back out," and someone like, say, The Rock steps in? Then we'll know Vince is a little more scared of TNA than he's letting on.
