That's gotta sting a little.

Jason Powell's ProWrestling website recently published a poll to their readers, asking them to vote for who they think was the best professional wrestling broadcaster in 2009. (link) According to the poll, which was started on January 14th and currently has over 1,100 votes, Matt Striker is the best announcer of 2009. Another important figure in this poll was that Michael Cole has thus far received a whopping 33 votes, making him the second least voted for announcer on the WWE's payroll, only beating out Josh Matthews.

Interesting fact: Don West received more votes than Michael Cole, and Don West hasn't been at the broadcast table since Taz's debut on TNA, several months ago. Sorry, Michael. I guess people just don't like hearing the same recycled catch phrases week in and week out. Who woulda thunkit?
