So Long Forever...er, for a year, whichever comes first

When last we saw Stone Cold riding off into the sunset, we were told this was goodbye forever. "Forever" will be coming just under a year later, on March 15. As posted on wwe.com tonight:

March 15, 2010: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Less than two weeks before WrestleMania XXVI, WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin hosts Raw on March 15. The WWE Universe should certainly mark their calendars for the legendary Rattlesnake's return, as it is sure to turn WWE’s flagship show upside down. Though it’s uncertain what will happen when Stone Cold takes his place at the head of Raw for one night only, there's no doubt that he'll be looked at as one of Raw’s most controversial special guest hosts.

Joey Styles, you sly dog. Slipping that little tidbit onto the site, safely tucked away on a "future Raw guest hosts" page with no fanfare? Before they ever get to announce it on TV? Smoooooth.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Stone Cold mark through and through, and I'd gladly take him on every show every week if he were so inclined to do it. But between Bret's return, the Alter Bridge boys reforming Creed, and now this, I will never again be able to take it seriously when I hear someone say "this will never happen."

Though I am a little concerned about the logistics. How is a man of Stone Cold's stature supposed to believably hit the stunner on Hornswoggle?
